Having troubled over it for quite some time, I have finally found a way to integrate links to different sections into the design. Nothing much to say really; 'Photos' is identical to the gallery present in the initial design and 'Applications' is still waiting for me to actually finish some of my Applications!

Update: 'Applications' is now known as 'Downloads' as I found it a section dedicated to applications alone a little restricting.
